India is one of the extremely bio-diverse countries and rightly finds a place in the list of 17 mega diversity countries of the world

With only 2.4% of the world's land area, India accounts for 7-8% of all recorded species including over 91,000 species of animals

Many Are Endangered

More than 400 species being threatened and 11 as critically endangered, many mammals are at risk
